Complex technology, clearly explained
QuickMedia is a Czech custom OTT video platform: it ingests live and recorded video, processes it into common streaming formats and delivers it to viewers through a CDN. It also offers content protection, recording for on-demand playback, ad scheduling and a client app for managing streams and statistics.
The website has to show a visitor who arrives with a specific use in mind (security camera monitoring, IPTV, e-learning, internet TV and radio, cultural and sports broadcasts) that the platform can handle their case. The technical details are therefore split into clear blocks: how it works, where it runs and what can be configured.
A website that explains the platform in motion
From the opening slogan through deployment scenarios to the architecture diagram and the client app: the website leads the visitor from “what is it” to “how will it run for me”.
Platform use cases and how it works

Client app and statistics
Managing streams, recordings and ads in one place, and viewing statistics with export to CSV or PDF.

Infrastructure and technical parameters
The platform runs on the Tier5 cloud with Kubernetes and relies on CDN77 as its main partner for global content delivery. On the input side it supports protocols such as RTMP, SRT, MPEG-TS, NDI, HLS and WebRTC, on the output side HLS, MPEG-DASH, Icecast and RTSP among others, including low-latency variants.

In the client’s words

The website was finished over a single weekend. The guys at 200solutions did a top-notch job.
