Finding the right information among many resources

edu.gov.cz is the Czech education ministry’s official information and communication platform for education. School leaders, founding authorities and teachers arrive with different questions. They need to find guidance, understand a reform or look up a specific detail.

Working with the ministry, we created a portal that combines editorial content with practical tools. Topic navigation, search and separate routes for school leaders and founding authorities help visitors start where it makes sense for them.

The design uses a restrained blue, readable typography and a clear structure. News responds to developments in education, while guidance and databases provide resources visitors can return to.

From a list to a useful tool

The public database section makes information accessible that would be difficult to find in a regular article. In the school head recruitment database, visitors can search the vacancies and narrow them by region or a specific school. Each entry brings together the name, founding authority and deadline.

The same navigation also leads to guidance materials, framework education programmes and other public resources. The aim is to offer the right route to information, as well as a place for it in the menu.
